Best Dressed at The MET Gala 2019

I'm currently writing this on the top floor of Barney's at Fred’s having a latte because where else would I be when talking about The MET Gala?

The carpet started off with Lady Gaga having four outfit changes and I almost threw my phone across the street. The theatrics gave me real life goosebumps. Then it was a downhill struggle to stay tuned in, but that carpet heated back up like a hot pocket at 9 AM. The theme was brilliantly and creatively executed across the board. The inclusion of POC and members of the LGBTQI community was unmatched throughout the evening. And the looks, I mean the LEWKS, left me in a uncontrollable gasp for air. 

2 private messages, group chats on Instagram and Twitter, and my own refreshing of my Instagram page every 20 seconds left my phone burning up--from fashion. 

At this point my best dressed list is longer than an elementary school carpool line at 3:00. My predictions, spot on. Kylie and Kendall gave us feather galore, French Montana gave us a political statement, Katy Perry came as a chandelier, Cody Fern made me want to purchase a baby blue cowboy boot, Billy Porter was a golden eagle, I cannot even talk about Gigi Hadid’s eyelashes and Lady Gaga stripped down to her lingerie and gracefully laid herself across the iconic MET steps. It got real... 

At this moment, I'm speechless. Swipe through my best dressed list. I'm going to just stay in my seat and continue to spiral from last night...
