Lionne Fall/Winter 2021 Runway Show

I am coining the phrase, “Sunday’s are for fashion,” after experiencing the beautiful Lionne F/W 21 collection by LaToia Fitzgerald. 

Los Angeles is notable for its red carpets, star-studded guest lists, and the outside of events crawling with photographers; however, LA has lacked an inspirational fashion scene that is so desperately needed in the city of stars. Fitzgerald did not disappoint in kicking off the coveted fashion month of September with her newest collection.

Located in a dreamy garden off of Wilshire Boulevard that placed you in a chateau on the French Rivera, the clothing designer curated a guest list of the top stylists, actresses, editors, and influencers to attend her first runway show, launching her 2021 Fall/Winter clothing line. 

Trendy yet sophisticated, each piece that cascaded down the winding runway (which included a 180 degree route around a sprouting fountain) embodied what it means to be a modern woman. Structured jackets with high shoulders, silk dresses, miniskirts, denim, and oversized puffer jackets are just a few of the stand out pieces that caught my eye.

And in true runway show “fashion” the street style was impeccable. If you were not captivated enough by the garments coming down the runway, the individual style of each attendee fed you. With style stars like Karrueche Tran, Draya Michele, and LaLa Anthony in attendance, the assignment was not missed.
